Virginia Beach, Beach Fun.

We took Eko to the beach last sunday for some quality time with daddy. We got rained on a bit but we still had fun. Isn't Eko  the cutest. His little face is changing and getting cuter.

but as you can tell... he HATES the waves. he runs away from it.....

Fuimos a la playa con eko, a el le gusta  mucho la arena pero no le gusta las holas. llovio un poco pero tadavia nos devertimos. 

Outside fun...

Just some pictures of some outside fun we had the other day. Eko loves doing bubbles and chalk on the sidewalk.

a day at the beach...

yesterday we had church and then a dinner at night so in between we went to the beach since eko loves to go play in the sun with daddy. We took lots of pictures but i have not load them but these are the ones eko and I took while daddy went for a swim. 

Raining days!!!

So ever since we got to virginia beach we have probably had 4 or 5 good sunny days but besides that it has been raining on and off. So today we decided to work with what we got and went outside to play in the rain. eko didn't like the idea at first but he really enjoyed it at the end. here are some pictures we took. The first one is my favorite one. if you see it close you can even see the rain falling down. we had fun.

I took these just for fun the other day. We had fun taking them. Once again trying to keep things interesting in the kitchen while we potty train. 

his little face is starting to change and he is starting to look different, like in this picture. 

Shoe Modeling.....

Eko loves to wear hats and try on each pair of our shoes, model them around the house and go to the next pair. These are just some of the ones I got on camera the other day.

Potty Fun!!!

We have been potty training and eko has been trying really hard to make it fun. so the other day I left to go get something and when I got back this is what I found. I had to take a picture, it was too funny to pass. good thing it was a clean one and he hadn't used it yet. 

Kitchen Fun....

We have been potty training eko so we have been spending a lot of time in the kitchen because its floor and not carpet so its easier to clean in case of accidents and the bathroom is right next to it. So here are some of the things we have been doing to entertain ourselves to not go crazy.

I have been sewing a quilt for eko, and making not one but a few copies of my recipe book and eko has been.....

We have been making snacks and then eko eats them to make sure they are good, he loves it. 

his face is getting more and more round. 
We have been playing with blocks...
making hand puppets, this one was suppose to a girl but eko wanted to call her mr. cars.

And lots of coloring too.....

hemos estado entrenando a eko a ir a el bano el solo, y por eso hemos pasado mucho tiempo en la cosina. estas son fotos de algunas de las cosas gue hemos estado asiendo para intretenernos durente entrenamos. (entrenamos en la cosino porgue es piso y no carpeta)

A sunny day in VB

VB has been a lot more rainy than we expected. It has been raining on and off for about 2 weeks but this last weekend we had a pretty good two days. On saturday, the sky cleared out and I was able to take eko outside to play like he has been asking me to do. He had a great time blowing bubbles. 

Ha estado lloviendo mucho en VB, ha estado lloviendo por casi dos semanas. Pero el sabado estubo soleado y pudimos dejar a eko ir afuera a jugar con sus burbujar. 

My little football player..

Eko and mark have been playing football every night after daddy gets home, eko looks forward to it all day. He loves it and is getting good at it. This was a video of the first day they started doing it.

I went to the potty...

So Eko has started his potty training and the other day he wanted to do a video so we made it after he went peepee in the potty and he this is him celebrating his success.

During our trip...

During our road trip to VB we had to be stuck in the car for about 15-16 hours a day for 3 days so when we stopped at night we had to make sure eko had a break and a little bit of fun. So on the first night we stopped at a hotel that had an inside pool. They had it close but they opened it for us. Eko loved swimming with Daddy, They had so much fun together....

This is eko in the hot tub for the first time. The pool was kindda cold and the hot tub was not too hot so we were able to put him inside.....

Mark grow up here in virginia beach so when we went to church there were a few people we already knew so that was different since we normally don't know anyone at church. And next week for mother's day we are going to go to his old ward where he know a lot of people so that will be nice. We really like it here, we just wish the clouds would go away, the rain would stop and the sun would come out. But besides that, we like it here. Who knows we may wanna move here some day, hehe.
